May not be suitable
It’s best to avoid taking BioSoothe because some of the ingredients may not be suitable for pregnancy. Our Pregnancy Multinutrient is formulated for prenatal use and provides everything you need whether you’re trying conceive, are already pregnant or are breastfeeding.
BioSoothe may not be the right supplement for you. It contains the amazing ingredient butyric acid, which we’ve included as it has a major role to play in the health and healing of the cells lining our digestive system. It also has a characteristic, acidic smell. If, however, you find you can get past the momentary discomfort, it’s well worth the benefit!
Unfortunately soy is part of the liposomal turmeric, which we use because it makes it more bioavailable to the body.
If you are taking prescribed medication, you should always check with your doctor first and read the information leaflet with your medicine(s) for contraindications.
Do not take BioSoothe without the permission of your doctor.
BioSoothe is the most comprehensive soothing complex on the market, containing nine science-backed ingredients in their most bioavailable forms. Each ingredient has been specifically chosen because it’s shown to tackle a different pathway in the body, to provide broad spectrum calming support. These include:
Vitamin D - to maintain a healthy inflammatory response by activating immune cells when they’re needed to fight off an infection, but not allowing them to overreact.
Zinc - a potent anti-inflammatory that supports a healthy immune system and may reduce several markers of inflammation.
Liposomal turmeric - contains the highly anti inflammatory curcumin but in a superior form that’s 45 times easier for the body to process.
Bromelain - an enzyme commonly used in joint health supplements.
Butyric acid - a natural short chain fatty acid that helps the cells that line our digestive systems.
Resveratrol - may inhibit compounds involved in inflammation and pain.
Boswellia extract - used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat a number of anti-inflammatory conditions.
Alpha lipoic acid - may increase the levels of anti-inflammatory cytokines in the body.
Quercetin - A powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory ingredient.
Ginger extract - the active compound in ginger, a well-studied antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.
Acute inflammation is a healthy response to illness or injury. But chronic inflammation is different. It’s behind many of the health complaints we put down to natural ageing, such as stiff joints, as well as chronic conditions like heart disease and Crohn’s.
Thought to be an immune response that remains ‘switched on’ without an obvious cause, stress, a poor diet, a lack of sleep or exercise and nutritional deficiencies have all been shown to raise levels of inflammation in the body.
Alongside improving your diet, taking regular exercise and getting a good night’s sleep, certain nutrients from turmeric to ginger have been found to work on inflammatory pathways, helping to soothe the fire that’s burning within. Others, such as vitamin D and zinc, are often found to be deficient in people suffering from conditions such as arthritis.
Many people use these bioactives, herbal extracts and nutrients to help support inflammatory responses - in fact some of them have been used for centuries. But until now they’ve only been available in separate products, making it an expensive and complicated process to find the right combination.
BioSoothe is the only complex on the market that combines nine of the world’s most potent nutrients in one single daily dose. Taken everyday, BioSoothe will help streamline your supplement regime and provide you with broad spectrum of bioactives, supporting optimal wellness today and tomorrow.
How we compare
“Excess inflammation is a driver for many modern health complaints. My experience, as an IBD patient and working in the nutrition industry, has shown me that many anti-inflammatory complexes on the market use only a fraction of the active ingredients available to us. As a result, many people end up having to buy several products to create the combination they need.
And that’s why we created BioSoothe. We wanted to make a product that harnessed the therapeutic value from as many different, proven nutrients as possible, thereby maximising the powerful effect of their healing properties.
The ingredients all begin their action in the gut, making it ideal for those with inflammatory GI issues, but they also act to quell systemic inflammation, which means BioSoothe may benefit anyone suffering the ill-effects of excess, ongoing inflammation”
Frequently asked questions
No, you don’t. Our formula contains liposomal turmeric, which contains the active curcumin in tiny fat-like particles which is easier for the body to process and absorb.
That’s the butyric acid. Also known as butyrate, it’s a natural short chain fatty acid commonly found in butter and ghee. It is produced by bacteria in our digestive system and has a major role to play in the health and healing of the cells lining our digestive system.
The only downside is that butyric acid has a very distinctive smell, which you’ll notice on trying BioSoothe. Unfortunately there’s nothing we can do about this, but it is such an exciting ingredient that we have decided to include it! If you are very sensitive to smell, BioSoothe may not be the right product for you.
Take two capsules per day with food. BioSoothe can be taken at any time of day but we recommend taking it in the morning just before breakfast.
BioSoothe is deemed safe for most people, but if you are immunocompromised or taking certain types of immunosuppressant medication, you should always check with your doctor first. If you take other types of medication, always check with your doctor or the information leaflet with your medicine(s) for contraindications.
